The AIATSIS National Indigenous Studies Conference, 2009

Planning has commenced for the 2009 Conference, to be held from 29 September to 1 October.

Information on the Conference theme, program etc will be published here as it becomes available.

There will be a call for papers addressing the theme in December 2008.

Research Seminars

The Research Section hosts two seminar series each year on selected themes as well as occasional seminars. While generally of academic interest, the seminars are open to the general public. After speaking, presenters usually have time to answer questions from the audience.

Seminars are usually held during lunchtime on Mondays.

2008 Series Two - Seminars for this semester focus on Indigenous Public Policy.  To view the series abstract click here.  The program is available here.

Enquiries about this series can be emailed to the coordinator Dr Patrick Sullivan: patrick.sullivan@aiatsis.gov.au

Abstracts and transcripts from past seminars are also available.
