Wentworth Lecture

AIATSIS established the Wentworth Lecture in 1978 to honour the contribution of the Hon W.C. Wentworth AO to the Institute’s establishment and development.

This biennial public lecture is an opportunity to explore advances in the fields of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies to encourage all Australians to gain a better understanding of issues that go to the heart of our development as a nation.
